New Smyrna Beach Mansion Burns After Reported Domestic Disturbance; Woman Arrested
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — A mansion was engulfed in flames after a reported domestic disturbance in New Smyrna Beach, according to information shared by CFL Report.
The disturbance was reported about 21 minutes before the fire while officers were on the way to the scene. A 30-year-old woman was arrested on allegations of battery on a person 65 or older and battery on a law-enforcement officer.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire. Authorities have not publicly established that the disturbance caused the blaze, and the criminal allegations have not been adjudicated.
